Well on Wednesday we head to Dana-Farber for an Immunotherapy treatment they have schedule for Jill. We are hoping so desperately that everything goes smoothly for our trip down their and that if they do give Jill the Immunotherapy they have her set to get since it is not typically a first line of treatment and was just approved last September.
Her Primary Dr. Tarraza in Scarborough wants to put her in a clinical trial for AIM2CERV a Cisplatin-based treatment that begins after Chemo but its a double-blind study with a 1:2 ration that Jill would receive the placebo and not even the drug that would prevent it. The most disturbing thing I find that as you learn more about Cisplatin you find it can lower quality of life and won't even extend your life .
We Met with the Oncologist in Bangor.

She did not have much faith in how Jill has changed her diet to one that only intakes cancer fighting foods and removed starches coffee and all processed sugars and intaking a large quantity of pomegranate juice and cranberry juice.

But in the end we did get home and are planning our exciting trip to Boston to see what the experts down their have to say.
